Directorate of the Faculty of performing arts of Kyiv national university of culture and arts.

KNUCA — it is a higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation, which as of 2021 has 10 faculties and trains students in 33 specializations. Over its fifty-year history, the university has educated more than 40,000 highly qualified specialists in the field of culture and art.

The university is constantly developing and introducing new technologies into the educational process in order to provide students with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills.

KNUCA has an undoubted authority in the field of finding talented young people and developing their creative potential. The educational institution combines an excellent academic education with practical skills, which allows students to become real professionals in their field.

Project tasks

After careful analysis of the design concept of the project and discussions with the customer of technical solutions, the main tasks for the development of the website were determined, namely:

  • develop the design of the interface, all sections and pages, which will correspond to the style of the faculty, as well as be intuitive and user-friendly. The design should be adaptive for different devices and screen sizes.
  • create animation of individual blocks and elements of the site, which will add dynamics and attractiveness to the interface. The animation should be smooth and clear, as well as correspond to the general style of the site.
  • implement an adaptive html layout that will automatically adjust to different screen sizes. This will ensure comfortable use of the site on various devices, such as computers, tablets and smartphones.
  • implement a registration system for collecting data on future students, which will be easy to use and reliably protected against unauthorized access. The system should allow prospective students to register quickly and easily, as well as give them the opportunity to provide the necessary information about themselves.

Result of the work

The video presentation of the site demonstrates its sophisticated design, rich functionality and user-friendly interface.

The following works were carried out as part of the creation of the faculty website:

  • internet marketing was carried out to popularize the site;
  • designed a user interface that meets the principles of usability;
  • developed an adaptive design and structure of pages that meet the requirements of adaptive layout;
  • processed and optimized graphics for fast loading and better display on different devices;
  • the website of the faculty was filled with textual information, which includes a description of the faculty and its specialties, news and events of the faculty, as well as information about the admissions campaign;
  • animation of individual objects was created to add dynamics and attractiveness to the site;
  • the YouTube channel of the faculty has been integrated into the site;
  • a registration system for entrants was implemented on the site;
  • the site was placed and configured on hosting.

Each of these works was performed at a high level, which made it possible to create a high-quality website of the faculty that meets the needs of its target audience.
