Kyiv national university of culture and arts (KNUCA) — is a prestigious higher education institution that trains specialists in the field of culture and art. The university has IV level of accreditation and has 10 faculties offering 33 specialisations. Over the 50 years of its existence, KNUCA has trained more than 40,000 graduates who work in various fields of culture and art, including theatre, cinema, television, music, literature, design, architecture, etc.

Project tasks

The task of developing the website of the Faculty of cinema and television of KNUCA was to create a modern information resource for applicants. The site should contain all the necessary information about admission to a certain specialty of the faculty, as well as be easy to use and attractive for visitors, in addition:

  1. Develop a website interface design that is convenient and intuitive for applicants. It is important to provide all the necessary elements and functionality so that users can easily find all the information they need.
  2. Create animations of individual blocks and elements of the website to make it more attractive and interactive. Animations can be used to emphasise important information and create a dynamic and modern design.
  3. Create a photo and video gallery that will demonstrate the life of the Faculty of cinema and television of the Kyiv national university of culture and arts. Photos and videos may include images of students, teachers, classrooms, studios and other objects. The gallery should be interesting and informative to attract potential applicants.

Result of the work

In order for the project to be successfully implemented and meet the customer's expectations, the following steps were taken:

  • Internet marketing was carried out to promote the site in search engines and social networks. A promotion strategy was developed, content for social networks was created and advertisements were placed in search engines.
  • Designed user interface that meets the principles of usability and is adapted for different devices. It is important that users can easily find all the necessary information and use the site comfortably.
  • Developed the design and structure of the pages, which correspond to the goals of the site and the expectations of users. The design should be attractive and informative, and the structure of the pages should be logical and clear.
  • Processed and optimized graphics for high quality and fast loading. Graphics should be bright and attractive to attract attention.
  • Filled with textual information that meets the site's goals and responds to user requests.
  • Created object animation to make the site more attractive and interactive. Animation can be used to emphasize important information, as well as to create a dynamic and modern design.
  • Basic SEO optimization was carried out to make the site more visible in search engines. SEO optimization includes optimization of titles, meta tags, text and site structure.
  • The site was placed and configured on hosting.
